These are another example of how I used to make puzzles purely for function and couldn't care less how they looked. In addition the only way to make such luminous items was to paint a white surface with the yucky green luminous paint. I am not sure if it would have been possible to get them looking nice. However I guess using white plastic cubes would help a little. The important thing of cause is whether I could use them in the dark. The answer is yes, they worked really well. I think I made a total of four Luminous Cubes including the mini in the last picture.
