I made this several years after my original Golden Cube. It is how I wanted my first one to look but wasn't sure how to achieve it so went for stickers instead. I used gold paint for this version but unfortunately it rubs off very easily so I would class this puzzle as a failure. It's a shame because I like the way it looks and rotational movement is very good like the originals. Uwe Meffert went on to make a factory version in 2008 which are now all sold out.
