I made this puzzle in 2007 as an experiment. Previously I had been using polyester resin which shrinks quite a bit. Now I had obtained some polyurethane resin which I knew was a lot more accurate. I wanted to test that accuracy so by making an exact copy of an existing puzzle I could see just how good it really is. In addition I was able to experiment with white pigment. I was very impressed with the accuracy though the white pigment was not so good.
